Changes in candidacy criteria and patient profile have evolved to the point that a cochlear implant is typical clinical practice for adults with moderate to profound bilateral sensorineural hearing loss who no longer benefit from traditional amplification. The goal of this presentation is to review how private practice audiologists can implement cochlear implants into their practice.

Join Dr. Wilder Roberts, an Assistant Professor in Audiology at the University of South Alabama and Cochlear Implant Director at USA Speech & Hearing Center and Dr. Ginger Grant, Professional Education Manager at Cochlear, for an exciting educational session on how independent audiologists can provide complete hearing care, including cochlear implants, to their patients. This session will review the results of a multicenter retrospective study which shows speech perception outcomes similar to that reported in the literature.
