As we reflect on the past quarter, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude for the remarkable achievements and milestones our community has made. This year marks the 5th anniversary of the Osia® System, a groundbreaking innovation that has transformed recipients’ lives across the globe, with over 25,000 Osia Systems worldwide. Since its launch, the Osia System has provided a new lease on life for those with hearing loss, enabling them to reconnect with the world in ways they never thought possible.
One of the most heartwarming stories of the life-changing Osia technology comes from an 8-year-old boy named Jaasiel from Central Texas. Born with a congenital condition that caused hearing loss, Jaasiel faced many challenges growing up. However, after receiving the Osia Implant in October 2024, he heard his mother’s voice clearly for the first time and was overcome with emotion. His family describes him as their “little warrior,” and Jaasiel himself encourages others to trust the process and the doctors.

Another inspiring story is that of a nurse who faced significant challenges in her career due to hearing loss. The Osia System has reinvigorated her professional life, allowing her to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
